Buyer’s Guide

Welcome to our Buyer’s Guide, designed to help you through the process of purchasing your dream Holiday Home.

Step 1 – Choose your perfect park

The most important decision you will make first when purchasing a holiday home is to pick the park that suits you best. Each of our holiday parks are unique and you will find the right one for you. A place where you feel relaxed and at home, ready to switch off from everyday life and enjoy making memories with your loved ones. We have put together a page about each park to help you choose between Highlands End, Golden Cap, Graston Copse, Larkfield and Sandyholme.

Step 2 – Visit the Park

We don’t want to rush you when you’re looking at purchasing a holiday home. It is important to get a feel for the park and visit the local area to be sure it is the right location for you. Book an appointment with our Sales Team, who will be happy to meet you and give you a tour of the Parks. Ask about our Try Before You Buy offer.

Step 3 – Choose your Pitch/Holiday Home

Depending on your budget, you may choose to select a vacant pitch and pick a new Holiday Home that fits your requirements, or one of the new Holiday Homes we already have on Park. If your budget is limited, take a look at the range of pre-owned Holiday Homes we currently have for sale with less time left on the Licence Agreement.

Step 4 – The little extras

Once you have chosen your dream Holiday Home, the team will be happy to go through any options that are available, such as deckings and storage boxes. They will also make sure you have a full understanding of the essentials such as the running costs, the licence agreement, the pitch fee and insurance, so there is full clarification and no hidden surprises.

Step 5 – Enjoy your Holiday Home

Once everything is finalised, we hope to have you enjoying holidays in Dorset within as little as 4 weeks. You will be pleased to know that there is very little paperwork to complete and our professional in-house ‘siting’ team will ensure that your Holiday Home is prepared on its pitch to a high standard and ready for you to enjoy.

Running Costs

It is fundamental to ensure that you can afford all the costs of owning a Holiday Home, including the running costs such as electricity, gas and insurance. The documents below outline the running costs for both Caravan and Lodge Holiday Homes on a WDLH park.
